The Pathway to Economic Stability Grant is structured to provide a qualified women student attending any one of the 28 Florida State Colleges’ certificate programs continued support from the first to the last term of her certificate program.
A candidate may be introduced by:
- A member of BPW/FL
- A BPW/FL Local Organizations
- An educational institution
- A BPW Local Organization partner
- Online Search
A candidate must:
- Be a woman
- Be enrolled full-time in a Florida State College Certificate Program of 2-6 terms
- Demonstrate Financial Need
- Maintain enrollment for continued support
Additional Criteria: This award is for women who are pursuing a career certificate and have demonstrated financial need. By easing the burden of educational-related and everyday expenses, it allows recipients to focus on their studies without the stress of managing daily costs. Students must be enrolled in a certificate program that extends across multiple terms.
The intent of this award is to provide continuous, term-to-term support for women attending a Florida state certificate program, as long as the student meets the above criteria. Confirmation of enrollment will be required prior to funding of consecutive terms. Should a student withdraw from their certificate program, funding will cease.
This program envisions providing a Pathway to Economic Stability to women enrolled in a Florida State College Certificate Program.
